Operations Research Engineer at Intel Corporation
Ashish has been associated with Intel Corporation since 2010 as an Optimization Architect. He has been the key member of supply chain decision solutions group, developing algorithms for large scale decision support systems. He also leads the day-to-day operations of these tools to keep the continuous flow of data exchange across planning the execution systems.
Prior to joining Intel Corporation, Ashish contributed significantly in optimizing freight railroad operations by developing advanced algorithms for Curfew Planning and Intermodal Transportation. He is recipient of multiple awards at INFORMS conference for his talks on Optimization in Railway Applications. He has co-authored research papers in different aspects of optimization such as large-scale-neighborhood-search, hybrid heuristic and exact algorithm, as well as written chapters on network optimizations.
Ashish earned his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a focus on Operations Research from the University of Florida, Gainesville, and his B.Tech. in Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur with Institute silver medal. In his spare time, he likes reading non-fiction and enjoys traveling.
